When it comes to a hearty breakfast it doesn’t get any easier than this!
Here is one of my favourite go-to brekkie which takes about 3 minutes to make, I know, super easy, right?! What you’ll need for this is: hot water (I use the kettle which means instant hot water), oats, 1 banana, some nuts, whatever fruit you have around. And cinnamon. I love sprinkling this all over.
Mash the banana using a fork. Add the oats. Slowly pour hot water on top of this. Mix the ingredients well. I like to have an almost cookie dough texture but you can add as much or as little water as you wish. Chop up some nuts (I like almonds for this recipe). See what fruit you have handy – anything goes.
What I love doing is cut the fruits in different shapes & sizes and play a little with the different textures (thank you, chef Corina!).
Et voila, now you’re ready to start the day!
